Join us in serving our community!
At ASFC we are faith-driven and Christ-centered promoting collaborative and innovative partnering organizations in an unrelenting quest to provide adequate shelter for all people in need community wide.
Volunteers and donors are the lifeblood of the operation of Americus Sumter Fuller Center. They raise funds, build houses, and encourage others to join the effort to eliminate poverty housing. Through their efforts, those with a need receive a hand up.
"Knowing that you could change the course of one family's life, and give them a sturdy, safe place to call home was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life" - Jesse McKinney, Volunteer
Americus-Sumter Fuller Center for Housing was founded in 2007 and the inaugural project was a Greater Blessing renovation to a home that had been damaged by the 2007 tornado. Since then the Americus-Sumter Fuller Center has been proudly partnering with volunteers, donors, and other organizations in an effort to provide adequate shelter for families in Sumter County.
